My name is Virginia Orantes, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of Blooming Harmony Therapy. This space is a reflection of my passion for supporting individuals from all walks of life on their unique journeys of growth and self-discovery. My mission is to help clients build healthier coping skills, enhance their resilience, and truly flourish—both in their personal and professional lives. It’s a privilege to create an environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve lasting harmony and fulfillment in their lives.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and shaped by a profound appreciation for cultural diversity. As a BIPOC therapist, I take pride in offering culturally responsive care, ensuring that language and cultural differences never become obstacles to meaningful therapy. Drawing from my personal journey as a first-generation Salvadorian immigrant, I bring empathy and connection to my work, supporting individuals as they navigate challenges related to identity, resilience, and systemic barriers. Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to connect with clients in the language that feels most natural to them, fostering a deeper sense of trust and understanding.

I am deeply committed to continuous growth and learning. I’ve pursued advanced training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Strength-Based Approaches. These specialized tools enable me to create personalized treatment plans that honor each client’s unique journey, meeting them where they are and empowering them to achieve their personal goals.

With over 16 years of dedicated experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds on their journey to well-being. My career has included working in community mental health clinics and with the L.A. County Department of Mental Health, where I’ve had the opportunity to provide compassionate care to adults, older adults, and members of the homeless community. It’s a privilege to support my clients as they navigate their path toward healing and growth.
